Course participants´ comments:
- A very good course in tropical medicine with a good clinical perspective.
- Very good course, both the week I Stockholm and the field trip to Tanzania has been excellent.
- Only objection would be that it could have been even more diseases included. Would have meant longer days or one more week, wich I don’t know if I would wanted. In general, for me, a perfect balance of the most important topics.
- Generally, very satisfied with the course as it was.
- Very good course, the suggestions I hade have already been said at previous evaluations. Good job getting so much to see in such a short time, one week more in Tanzania could of course have been useful.
- Generally, a well-balanced course with a high level of applied clinical knowledge and decision making learned.
- Great!
- Very useful course for the future and possibly working in Africa.
- I saw many patients with infections I am unlikely to see in my country. Very useful to be able to recognize them if I encounter one of them.
- This is an obligatory part of the specialization I´m currently pursuing. I do think this course is far more extensive than the other available course.
- The course will be valuable for my future professional work, both the topics cowered and the contacts.
- You have been great!
- Janne and Hilmir was cornerstone of the great experience we had in Tanzania.
- Very satisfied. Always prepared, engaged, supporting, with lots of positive energy. Very competent and medically skilled course management
- You always want more but that would have meant longer period away from home.
- The course would not be the same without the field part in Africa. Great opportunity to consolidate all the information gained through the course and see patients with the infections learned in the course.
- So valuable to see patient with many tropical infectious diseases as well as understand the complexity and ethical problems the health care system has to face. Lovely, beautiful country also.

Comments:
- The course is well-planned, and well laid-out with different focus-topics each week.
- Best course ever.
- To be able to plan the trip in two weeks with this end result is amazing. An eloge to the course leaders.
- We’ve experienced many new things, seen a lot of cases we’ll probably never had experience otherwise.
- It has been a fantastic course. I have learned so much and it has been a great experience.
- Good balance between theoretical and practical components.
